Throughout the month of July, God once again demonstrated His faithfulness as God’s City of Liberation Global Church (GCL) hosted the highly anticipated Impact Conference 2026. Held every Sunday at Glory Tabernacle, Gulf Flower International School, Miyaki, Oworonshoki, Lagos, this year’s conference carried the compelling theme, “The Rise of Global Stars.”
Impact Conference is more than an annual gathering; it is a divine platform where lives are transformed through the ministry of God’s Word, heartfelt worship, fervent prayers, and the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit. Each edition is designed to awaken purpose, strengthen faith, and prepare believers for greater Kingdom influence. This year’s conference was no exception.
The Rise of Global Stars
The theme, “The Rise of Global Stars,” served as a prophetic call to believers to embrace God’s divine purpose and step boldly into their God-ordained assignments. It reminded the Church that every believer has been created with unique gifts and a divine mandate to influence the world for Christ.
Rather than seeking earthly recognition, attendees were challenged to pursue lives marked by excellence, integrity, spiritual maturity, and unwavering commitment to God’s Kingdom. The conference reinforced the truth that true global impact begins with intimacy with God and obedience to His Word.

Pst. (Dr.) Daniel Ocheme
As the host of the conference, Pst. (Dr.) Daniel Ocheme delivered profound messages that called believers to rise above limitations, embrace divine purpose, and become effective ambassadors of Christ in every sphere of influence. His teachings emphasized that greatness in God’s Kingdom is rooted in character, service, and total dependence on the Holy Spirit.
Pst. (Mrs.) Rachel Ocheme
Pst. (Mrs.) Rachel Ocheme ministered with grace and wisdom, inspiring the congregation to cultivate spiritual discipline, unwavering faith, and godly character. Her sessions encouraged believers to remain steadfast in their walk with God while preparing for greater assignments and greater influence.
Pst. Godwin Bassey
Through insightful biblical teaching, Pst. Godwin Bassey challenged attendees to discover purpose, maximize their God-given potential, and live intentionally. His messages inspired participants to become transformational leaders whose lives reflect Christ wherever they are called.
Pst. Victor Ikukoyi
Pst. Victor Ikukoyi brought timely and impactful teachings that encouraged believers to rise beyond fear, break every limitation, and pursue God’s vision with confidence. His ministry reminded the Church that impossible situations become opportunities when faith is placed in God.
An Atmosphere of God’s Presence
Every service was marked by passionate worship, earnest prayers, joyful fellowship, and the powerful teaching of God’s Word. The atmosphere created room for personal reflection, renewed commitment, and spiritual growth as attendees encountered God’s presence in fresh and meaningful ways.
Throughout the conference, hearts were stirred, faith was strengthened, and lives were challenged to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Being a “Global Star” is not about personal fame; it is about becoming a vessel through whom God’s light shines to the nations.
