God’s City of Liberation Global Church (COTH Nations) is a dynamic, Spirit-filled global church committed to raising a generation of fire, purity, credibility, and kingdom excellence.
Our mission is to win the lost, liberate lives from darkness, equip believers, and raise global leaders who will stand for Christ anywhere in the world.
OUR HISTORY
COTH Nations began on April 16th, 2016, with an attendance of 16 people after a divine encounter at the University of Lagos gate, where the Lord instructed Pastor Daniel Ocheme to “go and raise a generation of fire and purity… changing lives, raising leaders, raising lovers of Christ and raising kingdom giants.

2015: Divine encounter at UNILAG
April 2016: COTH Fellowship started
September 6th, 2016: Online platform launched (now 40+ platforms globally)
2016–2021: Crusades, prayer meetings, discipleship, conferences, campus outreaches
December 31st, 2021: First crossover service as a church
January 3rd, 2022: First official church service
January 1st, 2023: Inauguration of God’s City of Liberation Global Church with 300+ people in attendance

Founder & General Overseer, God’s City of Liberation Global Church (COTH Nations)
Pastor Daniel Ocheme received his calling through a heavenly vision at the UNILAG gate, where God instructed him to raise a generation of fire and purity that would transform nations.
Who is Daniel Ocheme?
Born on April 28, 1994, our Senior Global Pastor is a dynamic leader bridging the gap between spiritual depth and intellectual excellence. With an educational background in Actuarial Science and Accountancy, he went on to earn a PhD in Divinity from All Nations Theological School.
His ministry journey began at the young age of 21 when he founded the COTH Fellowship in 2016. Following a divine call to full-time ministry in 2020, he officially launched the first service of GCL Global Church (COTH Nations) in January 2022.
A passionate revivalist, he has led crusades across Lagos, Ibadan, Ugep, and beyond, with a ministry marked by undeniable miracles. He is the Chancellor of the COTH Leadership Academy, the convener of the annual Peniel Camping, and the author of “Say No to Excuses” (2024). Recognized with numerous accolades—including the Kingdom Ambassadorship Award and Global Leader Award—his life is dedicated to one mission: raising passionate, pure, and Kingdom-driven believers.
